Hihihi)I have had a sewing machine for many years, but haven't used it too much (that's putting it mildely). So after browsing the net for some good and easy tutorials, I bought some fabrics today. I boldly started on a knitting bag, and all was well until the last 4 seams. Then it went very wrong and I ended up with a funny looking bag. Oh well, Lisbeth can have it for her makeup ;-) So I figured an easy wallet was the thing. And I did it without any mistakes! Juhuuu!
Here is my SP gift from Hobbyboden. 2 balls sockyarn from FagStrikk, loads of stitchmarkers and lovely tea. Thank you, wims :-)
Lisbeth wanted a brimmed cap in brown or black. So the mission falls yarn from the swap was just right. She picked out the patter herself; brimmed cap by Shazzas.
A lokal yarn shop arranged a knitting cafè on Saturday. I didn't have money to spend on yarn this time, but I didn't come home emptyhanded. These magazines from Drops were given away for free. Yes, I know they have all their patterns online, but I like the magazines too. I forgot my camera (of course), but Ronille was one of the ladies who took lots of pics wich can be seen here.
This is the hat for April in the hat along; Short-rows wavy hat. I liked this pattern. It was quick and easy to knit. Used 1 ball of Mission Falls 1824 wool wich I got in the swap.
